We assume that you already have AVEVA's PDMS installed and working on your PC. After downloading, double-click to start installation. (Note: This self-extracting archive will automatically unzip to a temporary folder "C:\CheckStressTemp" and execute "setup.exe".
Installation involves three steps:
In the opening menu, click and print/read the "How to Install?" and "Readme" sections. Doing so will make installation very easy.
1. Install SST License Manager
2. Install CheckStress program files.
If you get a .NET framework "not installed" message, then you need to download and install another file (see item C below).
3. After installation, when you execute CheckStress inside PDMS, you will be presented a dialog that has two fields: Product Key, Activation key. Executing CheckStress for the first time generates a Product key.
Ensure that you have a fast connection before you click on the above link. After downloading, unzip contents into any NEW temporary folder, and click on "setup.exe".
Install the software and run it once. You need to copy the product key and paste it into the field below. We will send you an activation key by email, which you need to copy into the Activation Key field when you execute CheckStress again. The software then becomes functional inside PDMS.SST or its distributors may contact you from time to time to inform you of updates and offers. Don't worry! We do not sell, rent or otherwise distribute your contact information to any third party.
